Director II – Community Development and Agroforestry Systems
Elmo served as PRCF Director II from 1996 to 2014. During his 20 year tenureship as a director he provided guidance and expertise in forestry, agroforestry, and biodiversity conservation for community-based forestry and natural resource management activities. He also assisted the organization with development of policy initiatives for forest stewardship systems and proposals for socioeconomic development and biodiversity conservation.
Director VIII – Carbon offsets and biodiversity conservation
Tonny was involved as PRCF Director VI between 2008 and 2014. During his six years with the organization, he provided advise and guidance on suitable measures to link environmental conservation and sustainable development. He provided backup support in aspects related to protected area conservation and management, and on integrating biodiversity conservation with community socioeconomic development goals at the policy and field level.
Director III – Cultural Development Affairs
Mering served as PRCF Director III from 2000 through 2014. During his fourteen years with the organization, he provided guidance on conflict resolution in community forest lands, advice on methods for rural and ethnic local community engagement, and support on workings related to ethnic minority customary laws analysis and advocacy.
