Stories from the weavers in Sintang, West Kalimantan

ASSPUK , an Indonesian association that promotes microenterprise services for women, facilitated a training session in Jakarta, for which a PRCF Indonesia staff member, and a weaver from the villages surrounding Sintang, West Kalimantan, took part.

Following this training session, each wrote an article to share their experiences with traditional ikat weaving, explain its importance in Dayak society, and to relay their impressions of their work. The articles are in Indonesian
